means: New and different, New and abnormal. The Neo Nazi klan in Nazi Germany was a new and abnormal type of National Socialism and I propose that Neo Conservatism is a new and abnormal type of socialism complete with something between micro and macro genocide.
In the past couple of years I have asked the high school and near high school graduating students in my area about the holocaust in Nazi Germany; none of the students have a clue about the atrocities.
In eight grade we spend an entire quarter dedicated to the grotesque mass homicide under the Hitler Regime. Films showing piles of dead bodies, decaying humans walking in concentration camps and many of the great acts committed against multiple races and gender preference groups. The course work was relatively easy however, the films watched were horrors of reality. Elie Wise, a concentration camp survivor came to my school and spoke to the entire student body complete with Q&A at the end.
All of this holocaust education was due to the tireless work of my Social Studies teacher by the name of Schlesinger. I remember her as a nice but firm educator who ran a respectful and disciplined class in a lower income suburban neighborhood.
My question is this: Where has the education on the holocaust gone? Where are the social studies teachers? Who will teach the children? Remember the famous words "Let us never forget" resounded by so many. Those words have been re-coined and recycled at every major atrocities end I can remember, except those of unexposed government motives. Or sickly, underexposed and narrowly accepted happenings.
What about a million Iraqis with their fates sealed at the hand of international war criminals? What about thousands of American boys and girls laying in pine boxes? And, who will remember all of the injured and murdered people at the hands of felons? Does it matter?
German people were loaded with propaganda for preventive war against difference. The "perfect race" was effectively prepared for the disappearance of its fellow men and women. It was "a good" thing, a new thing and a progressive way of thinking. If you wanted to be a part of the club one must acquiesce to the "new deal".
One mans anger was by the media, spun into another mans delight.
The Neo Nazi media dispensed the "good news" about the New German race as quickly as the gas chambers were emptied of the newly deceased. Again, brainwashing takes time, and massive murder takes time also.
I don't think that the Nazi and SS believed that they were wrong. Allow me to qualify that. National Socialism is designed (poorly at best) to be for the good of "everyone". Everyone except those whom inconveniently stand in the way of progress. Governmental progress is best suited in the interest of the people when the government is in a state of rapid decline, fearing the people or simply existing solely for the purpose of the people.
We the people should be those who choose the paths and destinations of the government we employ. It should be about choice.
The first king of Israel named Saul continually made poor choices and tried to impose morality through law by force. The next king of Israel David exemplified morality by living it (mostly) and his actions set the pace for the country by major part.
An old school meaning of the word "Liberal" could reflectively be seen as this: The mindset that I myself will live according to the highest standard of love, toward myself and others. Others may do as they wish as long as their actions do not impose on my family, person or property. If their actions truly impose, I will take action to counter act those deeds, while holding to a strictly high standard of love and respect. That is also the definition of anarchy and free markets.
Free markets are being taxed into panic, individual labor is penalized while liars and thieves spend the stolen money. The war epicenter of the world (Washington D.C.) is thriving while distant States infrastructure decays.
In my home State of Colorado a socialist
Joe Rice receives a bridge builder award for his new twenty five dollar tax on vehicle registration to repair bridges. Colorado has some outright decrepit infrastructure and needs major renovations. However, taxing a tax is simply socialistic and Neo Conservative. I openly protest the "tax on top of tax" because I have a need for transportation. Meanwhile my fuel taxes do not pass go, do not collect two hundred dollars and go directly to Washington. Oops, I mean jail.
The bottom line is that the more Neo the propaganda becomes the more the center of the nation will be divided. Division is a good thing. Division brings reconciliation and eventual peace through some type of resolution.
Revolutionary Ron Paul Supporters are not Neo anything. The revolution is not new, it is only revived and continued through the continuous speaking of constitutional law. A law in which the government is accountable to the people, and must remain nearly benign.
Paul supporters are gaining access to the political powerhouse and its machinery one seat at a time. Hopefully they will each stop parts of the machine and begin to cripple the powerhouse in a peaceful and lawful way.
Students of the Constitution like Murray Sabrin are becoming mildly popular, with wildly supportive followings. Supporters hold some key positions and are banned together as loosely affiliated, tightly believing lovers of liberty. And, If Liberty has a sister her name is Truth. May all of the students of the Constitution practice a great deal of Truth which will by process cause Liberty.
